Art & Craft

Art & Craft is one of the co-curricular activities in Carmel Academy for pre-primary and lower primary children. The objective of Art & Craft is to groom the children in developing their potentials into talents and skills in areas of creativity and imagination, Individual Craftsmanship, strengthening academics and life skills. When children participate in both arts and crafts, creativity and imagination receive strong stimulation. For example – a child with a paintbrush in his hand suddenly has the ability to create vivid paintings and express himself boldly with colour and brush strokes.

School Library

"A library is not a luxury but one of the necessities of life." Though this is the age of digitized books and periodicals, we don’t see any decrease in the number of students visiting the library and using the books for reading them. Level four of the Primary building houses a huge, quiet, spacious, colourful and full-fledged library with a wide spectrum of approximately 2500 books, catering to different genres. The library has earmarked areas for both junior readers and senior readers.
